The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of collection listed above. We never use the collected data to draw conclusions about your identity.
We also use cookies and analytics services when you visit our website. Sections 4 and 5 of this policy provide further details.
Processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your freely given consent under Article 6(1), first sentence, point (a) GDPR.
3. Disclosure of data

We disclose your personal data to third parties only if:
- you have given your express consent under Article 6(1), first sentence, point (a) GDPR;

4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone, when you visit our site. Cookies do not damage your device and contain no viruses, Trojan horses or other malware.
Cookies store information related to the device you use. This does not mean that we directly learn your identity.
We use cookies to make our services more convenient. For example, session cookies let us recognise that you have already visited particular pages on our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.
We also use temporary cookies to improve usability. These remain on your device for a specified period. When you return to use our services, we can automatically recognise that you have visited before and recall your previous entries and settings, so you do not have to enter them again.
We also use cookies to record website usage statistically and evaluate it to improve our services, as described in section 5. These cookies allow us to recognise returning visitors automatically and are deleted after a defined period.
Processing data through cookies is necessary for these purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties under Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) GDPR.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can configure your browser to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer or to display a notice before a new cookie is created. Disabling all cookies may prevent you from using some website functions.
5. Analytics tools
a) Tracking tools
We use the tracking measures described below on the basis of Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) GDPR. We use them to adapt our website to users' needs and improve it over time. We also use them to record website usage statistically and evaluate it to improve our services. These interests are legitimate within the meaning of that provision.
The purposes of processing and the categories of data are set out in the descriptions of the individual tracking tools.
b) Google Analytics
To adapt our pages to users' needs and improve them over time, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, referred to below as "Google". This involves creating pseudonymised usage profiles and using cookies, as described in section 4. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as:
- browser type and version;
- operating system;
- referrer URL (the page previously visited);
- the accessing computer's hostname (IP address);
- the time of the server request;
is transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. This information is used to evaluate website usage, compile reports on website activity and provide further services related to website and internet usage for market research and to adapt these pages to users' needs. The information may also be transferred to third parties where required by law or where third parties process it on Google's behalf. Your IP address is never combined with other Google data. IP addresses are anonymised so that attribution is not possible (IP masking).
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings. If you do so, you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full.
You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the cookie-generated data relating to your use of the website, including your IP address, by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, particularly on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie applies only to this browser and our website and is stored on your device.
If you delete cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics is available in the Google Analytics help pages (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).
bb) Google AdWords conversion tracking
We also use Google conversion tracking to record website usage statistically and evaluate it to improve our website. Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer, as described in section 4, if you reach our website through a Google advertisement.
These cookies expire after 30 days and do not identify you personally. If you visit certain pages on the AdWords customer's website while the cookie is still valid, Google and the customer can recognise that you clicked the advertisement and were redirected to that page.
Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. Information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for customers who have opted for conversion tracking. These customers learn the total number of users who clicked their advertisement and were redirected to a page containing a conversion tracking tag. They do not receive information that would allow them to identify individual users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can reject the cookie required for it, for example by disabling automatic cookie acceptance in your browser. You can also disable conversion tracking cookies by configuring your browser to block cookies from "www.googleadservices.com". Google's privacy information on conversion tracking is available here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html).
6. Social media plug-ins
We do not currently use social plug-ins from Facebook, Twitter or Instagram on our website.
7. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right:
- under Article 15 GDPR, to request access to your personal data that we process. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, rights to rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, the right to lodge a complaint, the source of data not collected from you, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information about its details;
- under Article 16 GDPR, to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data or completion of incomplete personal data that we store about you without undue delay;
- under Article 17 GDPR, to request erasure of your personal data that we store, unless processing is necessary to exercise freedom of expression and information, comply with a legal obligation, serve the public interest, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- under Article 18 GDPR, to request restriction of processing if you dispute the accuracy of the data, if processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure, if we no longer need the data but you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or if you have objected to processing under Article 21 GDPR;
- under Article 20 GDPR, to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or request its transmission to another controller;
- under Article 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time. We must then stop any future processing based on that consent;
- under Article 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You may usually contact the authority for your habitual residence, workplace or our law firm's registered office.
8. Right to object
If we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) GDPR, you have the right under Article 21 GDPR to object on grounds relating to your particular situation, or where the objection concerns direct marketing. For direct marketing, you have a general right to object that we will honour without requiring you to state a particular situation.
To exercise your right to withdraw consent or object, send an email to rae@pfnuer.de.
9. Data security
You can recognise whether an individual page is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or padlock symbol in your browser's lower status bar.
We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, and unauthorised access by third parties. We continually improve these measures as technology develops.
10. Currency of and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and is dated February 2026.
Further development of our website and services, or changes to statutory or regulatory requirements, may make it necessary to amend this policy. You can access and print the current privacy policy at any time at https://pfnuer.legal/impressum_datenschutzerklaerung/.
